The deep bowl with straight sides, on a splayed foot with lathe-turned moldings on the underside, a raised band of guilloche below the rim highlighted by copper and silver overlay, the interior bisected by a sheet insert, the two part lid with lathe-turned moldings, one side with a circular aperture for insertion of a stylus, the other side with a bail handle with stylized duck head terminals
