Sculpted in relief, preserving the central tondo enclosing the busts of two youths, their heads turned toward each other, both with short hair brushed forward, strong chins, bow-shaped mouths and large heavy-lidded eyes, their pupils articulated, one depicted nude, the other draped, the tondo supported by cupids, only their upper arms, hands and the edge of one feathery wing preserved, an ancient dovetail clamp-hole on the upper edge with the remains of a lead pin
