A late 18th early 19th century double portrait miniature swivel ring
The swivel bezel enclosing on one side a portrait of Charles Henry Friso, Prince William IV of Orange-Nassau (1711-1751) facing right, wearing suit of armour, lace cravat, red scarf and blue sash of the Order of the Garter, powdered wig en queue, after Robert Mussard (1713-1777), the opposing portrait probably Frederick the Great (1722-1787) wearing blue coat, black stock and sash of the Royal Prussian Order of Black Eagle, each under rock crystal, the reeded bezel with foliate shoulders and plain hoop, circa 1800, finger size - G
