Three 19th century hardstone cameo brooches
The first an oval agate depicting the head of Diana in profile to the left, wearing a gold earring habillé, within a faceted pink tourmaline graduated border with rose-cut diamond points to a coronet surmount with seed pearl and engraved decoration, circa 1880, later brooch pin; the second an oval agate carved as the head of Mars in profile to the right within ropework border, circa 1880, French mark; and an oval agate carved as an allegorical scene of an erupting volcano with Eros above and figures below, in silver mount.
