Seven 19th century cameo brooches
Comprising: one of oval labradorite carved to depict the head of Mars in profile to the left, on applied brooch mount; one of oval onyx carved as the head of a classical female in profile to the left, in French gold mount with tubular surround and trefoil leaf cardinal points, circa 1880; an oval agate carved to depict a bearded man in profile to the left, within half-pearl surround, circa 1900; one of oval agate carved as the bust of Psyche in profile to the left, later brooch mounted in Bohemian garnet cluster frame with locket reverse; an oval green stained hardstone depicting Eros, in plain mount; an oval ivory depicting the head of Flora in later brooch mount; and a composite cameo of Louis XVIII, in gilt brooch mount.
