The general cargo steamer Agenoria was owned by Rickinson, Son & Co. of West Hartlepool and built there in Irvine's yard in 1883. Constructed of iron throughout, with engines by Richardson, also of Hartlepool, she was registered at 1,321 tons gross (852 net) and measured 244 feet in length with a 33 foot beam. Owned latterly by the West Hartlepool Steam Navigation Co., she was wrecked off Heligoland on 28th November, 1899, whilst en route from Grangemouth to Hamburg with a cargo of coal.
