The miniatures include a costume-book illustration on vellum (tipped in) of four ladies (f.17v), a remarkable and delicately-rendered scene of a knight confronting a crystal sphere, from within which two arms emerge aiming a bow and arrow, an arrow-bearing dragon above (f.21), a youth spearing a wild boar, with a group of alarmed huntsmen behind (f.23), and Actaeon and the bathing nymphs (f.104v).
