Probable first edition with French text, containing the same 72 maps as the 1577 Dutch first edition. This well-known miniature atlas was reduced from Abraham Ortelius's folio atlas first published in 1570. Philippe Galle cut the plates and Pieter Heyns provided the original text in verse.
