A full-length fur coat of ribbed white ermine, with a deep cape collar and square rhinestone button at each cuff, lined in black silk and labelled inside Maximilian, New York -- worn by Marilyn Monroe on various occasions including to the premiére of Noel Coward's Conversation Piece, 18 November, 1957, starring Joan Copeland, Arthur Miller's sister; accompanied by a black and white photograph of Monroe wearing the coat, late 1950s [printed later] -- 8x10in.
