A Chinese Canton enamel chalice and wood stand, late 18th century
decorated on the exterior with two panels framed by floral scrolls enclosing in one an official and in the other a woman holding a ruyi sceptre, both with attendants in a garden, all on green enamelled ground inlaid with silver, gold and coloured foil including Buddhist Emblems, flower sprays and bats -- 6 1/16in. (15.4cm.) high
