the trapezoidal celadon coloured stone with russet inclusions, each side incised and carved within a frame with a taotie mask comprising 'C' scrolls, the lower corners and centre with cross-hatched sections, three joined holes in the top for attachment to the scabbard -- 1¼in. (3.2cm.) high
