A Pair of Japanese koransha style jars and covers, late 19th Century
painted with dragons and ho-o birds amongst waves and scrolling clouds, bordered to the shoulders with under-glaze blue lappets extending a short way into the body and with a band of flowerheads and scrolling foliage to the base edge, the cover with gilt knop finial - 20¼in. (51.5cm) high.
