The rectangular-cut emerald weighing 20.32 carats to the baguette and brilliant-cut diamond shoulders and plain hoop
Accompanied by report No. 979453 dated 20 December 2005 from the Precious Stone Laboratory, London, stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin with evidence of moderate clarity enhancement
Provenance
By family tradition, this 20.32 ct. emerald came from the central flowerhead of a tiara forming part of an important 19th century emerald and diamond parure, owned by María del Pilar Osorio, Duchess of Fernán Nuñez (1829-1921)
