A ROYAL LOVE LETTER--WITH HEALTH COMPLAINTS. Writing to "mon Coeur," ("my heart"), Henry complains about the poor state of his health and says he is feeling rather weak, after subsisting on fruit and salad ever since leaving Paris. A severe stomach ache has limited his diet this day to a lone egg, and he has traveled on nothing more volatile than a placid mule. He ends by expressing regret that Gabrielle's sister Diane will notbe able to join her.
