A CROW BEADED AND FRINGED HIDE LANCE CASE
of usual form, constructed of two rawhide panels lashed together with hide, the triangular head overlaid with buffalo hide on the front, sinew sewn and flat-stitched with various shades of opaque and translucent beads, decorated with three triangular elements in the center and bands of geometric motifs along the perimeter, panels of short and long twisted fringe, the shaft, with incised triangles and bar motifs, trimmed with navy blue and red wool trade cloth, a pair of tapering hide and cloth drops suspended below with beaded triangles and short fringe
