Provenance: presentation inscription 'For my darling May, from Pamela'. PRESENTATION COPY. Michael commemorates the life of Michael McKenna, son of Pamela and Reginald McKenna, who were friends of Francis Meynell. The final chapter gathers Michael's poems, with an introduction by the poet Ralph Hodgson; this chapter, with the introduction, was later reset and issued 'under the supervision of the Nonesuch Press' in 1932.
