A related early 16th century Tournai tapestry woven with a complex composition of swirling stylized foliage, peacocks and various animals including lions, deer and a fox is in the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago (see C. Mayer Thurman, Textiles in the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, 1992, pp.54-57. Another related tapestry woven with similar stylized foliage incorporating a 'wild man' can be found at Chteau d'Azay-le-rideau, (see J. Boulic and E.
