the bowl with deep rounded sides, covered inside and out with a russet glaze ending in a dark brown line below the unglazed mouth rim; the domed cover with knop handle similarly glazed on the exterior, the interior with a lustrous black glaze with rust-brown splashes, the underside of the everted rim unglazed
