A model of the schooner yacht Atlantic
the hull is built up from the solid and painted with a dark red bottom, white waterline and black topsides. The deck is planked in basswood, and fitted with numerous details including: ventilators, anchor, deck houses, ship's boats, sky lights, binnacle, wheel, turning blocks and other details. Rigged as a three masted schooner, with booms and gaffs, bowsprit, standing and running rigging, flags and other details. Displayed on a pair of brass pedestals on a mahogany base within a brass bound glass case
