The cards depict full-length figures, Arabic numerals within a circle, and costumed figures without suit marks inset at upper center. The designs are based upon earlier B. Dondorf illustrations. Includes original 14 page booklet of instructions entitled, "Guide to the Art of TELLING FORTUNES by the use of the FORTUNE TELLING CARDS enclosed in every packet of BLACK CAT VIRGINIA CIGARETTES, and The Art of Telling Fortunes as professed by The Celebrated Parisian Diviner Mlle. Silvia d'Arville (?)." Backs are decorative panel in red, blue and metallic gold. Size 3 in. (7.7 cm.) high, 2-3/8 in (6.2 cm.) wide. Cards and booklet in generally fine condition.
