Domino Bone Box, c. 1802-1815.
2.5 x 5 x 2.75 in. (63 x 126 x 70 mm). Rectangular bone box lined with blue paper, rope turned and scalloped double borders on long sides of the box, carved finials and corner posts, carved feet and dome-shaped sliding lid. The box is decorated with an overall detailed and elaborate maze open work. The interior holds bone dominoes and eight fish-shaped game markers.
