Compare the current 'rhyton' vase with the bottom of the cup in the shape of an upturned dragon's head with a very similar example (although carved in a yellow jade), from the same period, illustrated in A Romance with Jade - From the De An Tang collection, September 2004, p.184, pl.119 ; see also a comparable piece from The Complete Collection of Treasures of The Palace Museum - Jadeware (III), Hong Kong 1995, p.169, pl.137
