Lot Essay

In Composition (Nature Morte I) 'The recurring arcs represent glasses and bottles. A table unexpectedly emerges at the left at the juncture of a salient angle. A braided motif characteristic of the tablecloth faintly repeats. Light suffuses the whole, isolating each distinct grouping of graphic intrigue (B. Wallen & D.
