AN IMPOSING VICTORIAN ELECTROPLATED 6-BRANCH CANDELABRUM CENTREPIECE,
CIRCA 1865,
Modelled as a fruiting vine, with 3 openwork baskets dependent, the top designed to hold a glass dish, three cast figures of The Three Graces at the foot of the vine, on a pedestal foot with lobed sides, on three shell & foliate feet, engraved with arms & monogram pertaining to the inscription on foot, "Presented to Lady Florence Taylour on her marriage with Somerset H.Maxwell Esqr. by the tenants and friends on her father's estates in Meath, 6th. Augt. 1875", 29¾ in. high (75.7 cm.), 23 in. span (58.6 cm.).
