A LATE 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER SPOON,
MARK OF PAVEL OVCHINNIKOV, MOSCOW, 1891,
The egg-shaped bowl with gilt interior, the upper half of the stem with spiral twist decoration below a knop finial, in original wooden case with vacant brass plate to cover, the oyster silk lining with maker's name & Imperial warrant printed in gold & further lined in plum velvet, spoon 7¼ in. long (18.6 cm.), 2.5 oz.
