MARK OF LEWIS HERNE & FRANCIS BUTTY, LONDON, 1759,
Circular, the fretwork border with bead & foliate edge, on three cast, pierced bracket feet, centre engraved with a lady's armorial, on a lozenge or a lion rampant, base engraved with scratch-weight "13=8" & initial "T", base fully marked, lion passant to border, 7½ in. diameter (19.2 cm.), 13 oz.
