"I had not tasted the '85 for almost a decade and thus it was with great pleasure that I rediscovered just how great a wine it remains with a soaring nose of now mostly secondary and wondrously complex aromas that introduce gorgeously textured and dazzlingly pure middle weight flavors that display the hallmark finesse and exceptionally fine detail that culminate in a non-stop finish where the almost pungent minerality is very much on display. This is genuinely a sensational effort that is drinking perfectly now yet the vibrancy and energy are such that this should continue to drink well for a long time to come." BH 2005
