The moulded rectangular hinged lid and doors inset with specimen marble panels to the reverse including Siena, porphyry, Breche d'Alep, Brocatello and other hardstones, enclosing a well and an architectural fitted interior with eleven drawers around a central niche, flanked by Rosso Verona columns, surmounted by a pediment with plaster panels depicting putti, on a moulded base
