The hood with later caddy top and finials, blind fret panel, later spiral twist columns, the trunk with arabesque marquetry around a door with reserves of bird and flower marquetry above a conforming plinth raised on a later skirting, the 11 inch (28 cm.) square brass dial with scored border and winged cherub and foliate spandrels to chapter ring with sword hilled half hour markers and signed Tho Bridge Londini fecit, the matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring, ringed winding holes and triple crown engraving around the date aperture, the hnads now black painted, the eight day movement with five pillars, anchor escapement and inside countwheel strike on bell; built up cheekboards, case late 17th century with alterations and associated to movement and dial; two weights; pendulum
