A Belle Epoque ruby and diamond brooch
The central square cushion shaped ruby in millegrain setting with old brilliant-cut diamond border and openwork floral design lozenge shaped surround with trefoil or flowerhead cluster quarters, set throughout with old brilliant and old-cut diamonds, circa 1905, with two diamond pendant fittings and a neckchain
Accompanied by report No. 980554 dated 12th May, 2006 from The Precious Stone Laboratory, London stating the ruby to be natural, origin Mogok, Burma, no evidence of heat treatment
