With slightly splayed base and flaring rim, the waisted neck applied with two square handles, one side painted with peonies, the reverse with chrysanthemum and the short sides with blossoming prunus between a frieze of scrolling lotus around the neck and ruyi lappets around the base, the rim with lilies and peonies, the base with an apocryphal Xuande mark
