Gertrude's Bear
a Bing teddy bear with blonde mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs and hump, circa 1910 --14in. (35.5cm.) high, Pollock's Toy Museum cloth label sewn on foot pad (pads recovered, some small bald spots and thinning and slightly faded);
and an original photograph of Gertrude aged 9 holding her bear --5¼in. (13.5cm.) x 2 7/8in. (7.5cm.) (small pin prick in corner and trimmed) (2)

Provenance
This bear belonged to Mary Isobel Gertrude and has also been part of Pollock's Toy Museum in Scala Street, London for many years.
A limited edition of 'Gertrude's Bear' was made by Naomi Light which was sold at the museum.
