Hubert was rescued by the owner's father, who was a radio officer in the merchant navy. In 1936 he was part of a ship's cargo that was attached by rats !! He repaired his damaged pads and took him home to his mother. Pearl was also the owner's grandmothers toy and Edward was her childhood companion. These companions would now like to stay together in their new home.
