A German teddy bear
with golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, slotted-in ears, swivel head, jointed limbs and hump, 1910-20s --14in. (35.5cm.) high (bald spot to right side of face, some thinning and general wear, pads recovered and some black stitching replaced); and an American teddy bear with golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, remains of mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs and rounded hump, 1910-20s --18¾in. (47.5cm.) high (worn, holes and tears repaired with glued patches, pads repaired)
