LIMITED EDITION, one of 100 copies only. A beautifully colored book showing the signs used by Chinese shopkeepers to advertise their trade. They are colored in gold, silver and colors. Each sign is accompanied by a description in English and Chinese.

Accordion form, 210 x 154 mm. Text in Chinese and English. 12 hand-colored portrait of ladies in costume. Wooden covers mounted at beginning and end, cover with title carved at center. (2)
