[Egypt or Syria, 14th Century]450 x 330mm. (trimmed), 13 lines of black muhaqqaq, verse divisions marked by gold, blue and oragne florets, illuminated marginal khams markers with oramental kufic, gold on gold ground within teardrop shaped cartouche bordered by overlapping orange lappets, similar 'ashr markers, but round and with green lappets, trimmed but otherwise good condition
