Musical manuscript on paper, 4o (200 x 160mm.), 205 leaves, mostly in 8s (one gathering in 12, three in 10s, three in 6s), the first gathering of blanks including paste-down with later quotation from Psalm 94, 5 staves with neumes per page in red and black, a few in blue, fly-titles in red on separate leaves, spaces for larger initials to each section, 7 pages, nine black leaves, and 11 pages at end in black. Contemporary sheep, upper cover stamped with medallion with head of Christ within a lozenge dated 1606 within border, the lower cover with similar lozenge with a sleeping figure (rather worn)
