12o (148 x 82 mm). General title with typographic bordered border, section title for the New Testament within typographic border. Text double column, ruled in red throughout. (Corner chipped on Bb1 affecting a few letters, some slight marginal browning.)
Binding: Possibly bound by the Queens' Binder A in 17th-century English red goatskin, the covers tooled in an all-over gilt pattern of drawer-handles, pyramids of semi-circles, floral and other tools, gilt panel spine, edges gilt, remnants of silver catches (some light wear to corners, lacks clasps). Provenance: Brutton family (numerous manuscript notes of family birth records on endpages); purchased from Harry A. Levinson, 15 October 1956.
