[BYZANTINE BOOK COVER.] Binding only: 340 x 250 mm. 17th-18th century red velvet over wooden boards, each cover with mounted silver ornamentation, the front with image of the Crucifixion, saints, stars, the sun and moon, the back cover with representation of the resurrection, saints and angels, clasps and catches (rebacked, later silk doublures).
