Contemporary pink stained vellum gilt, decorated with an allover floral and geometrical design, flatt spine of one panel with floral design, brass clasps (small portion of one catchplate missing, staining faded on spine and upper cover); brokatpaper endpapiers. Provenance: Alexander Lord Polwarth & Eldest son of Patrick Earl of Marchmont (large armorial bookplate, dated 1721); Johann Georg Lamprecht (inscription dated 1733 on front free endpaper).
