(Some pale intermittent spotting.) Contemporary blind-decorated calf (rebacked preserving original spine). Provenance: purchased from Philip C. Duschnes, cat. 172, ca 1965.

FIRST EDITION, PRINTED ENTIRELY IN THE CREE SYLLABARY save for the English imprints. The Bible was translated by William Mason, a missionary in Prince Rupert's Land, with the assistance of his wife, and Indian pastor and several native speakers.
