Tall narrow 8o (333 x 70 mm). Vignette of Dante on title. London salmon morocco ca 1900, covers with a semé of circles and stars, continued on the smooth spine, gilt-lettered on spine within the circles, green glazed floral-decorated endpapers, edges gilt, by J. Leighton (some light rubbing). Provenance: purchased from Emil Offenbacher, 24 April 1953.

LIMITED EDITION, one of 100 copies on paper from an edition of 110. The colophon states that this is the first book printed in the "papiriforme" style.
