Publisher's blue blind-embossed cloth, gilt-lettered on upper cover and spine (some light rubbing). Provenance: William F. Ross (signature dated 1858 on half-title, bookplate); Hew Gwen?, 1908 (inscription on front free endpaper).

FIRST EDITION OF BYRNE'S WORK ON EUCLIDEAN GEOMETRY, and a beautiful piece of color printing, in which five colors are used to illustrate the Euclidian principles.
