8o (189 x 124 mm). Large woodcuts and woodcut borders surrounding every page re-engraved from the originals by E. Mouchon. A FINE MOSAIC BINDING BY GRUEL, calf, from cover with mosaic with leaf and stem border and corners in jewel effect, enclosing a frame of latticed squares with tiny blind tooled flowers in each square, a cental panel in fine mosaic and tooling with a miniature in relief of the Holy Trinity, back cover simple ruled in gilt and blind, spine gilt-ruled, doublures and endleaves of bronze grosgrain silk, stamped signed on front turn in and base of spine (some light drying along front joint with a small associated abrasion, a few small chips to paint); velvet- and silk-lined morocco folding case with clasp.
