[Laid in:] STRAUSS, Richard. ALS to the "Redaktion der Nationalzeitung" dated 10 September 1910, on his Garmisch "Landhaus Richard Strauss" stationary. Strauss is declining to reply to an open letter by the Director of the Dresden Opera Graf Seebach, regarding a finacial discussion, following the opening of his opera Electra in Dresden. Strauss closes the letter: "In the meantime I have to finish the partitur of the Rosencavalier." [With:] ERNST, Max. Electra. Reproduction on yellow paper.
