COMPASS AND SUNDIAL -- A 16th-Century German ivory triptych sundial, with maker's mark for Hans or Thomas Tucher, Nuremburg, the three leaves with numerous dials, the string gnomon dial with settings for 54o, 48o and 42o (compass glass and needle missing).
122 x 72 x 20 mm. Three ivory panels with a total of 6 faces, with polychrome decoration and elements in gold.
