Of a quartieri type, painted with Venus reclining on a cushion and Cupid drawing his bow nearby, in a landscape with a tree within a robbiana against a geometric panelled ground with scrolling foliage, beasts, acanthus leaves, dolphins and flowerheads, the upper part with a label inscribed · mellis · uiolate · in blue Gothic script, the cylindrical neck with flowerheads in square panels, yellow band and ochre line rims (section of neck restored, very small chip to rim and two to footrim, some areas of wear)
