A PAIR OF DOCCIA ORMOLU-MOUNTED CANDLESTICKS

Each modelled with a scantily clad putto holding a twisting cornucopia mounted with a foliate ormolu nozzle, the putti stippled in flesh tones and seated among boldly modelled C-scrolls on V-shaped scroll-moulded bases brightly coloured in red, pale-blue, purple and yellow, the foliage enriched in gilding (both with areas of very slight wear, one broken through base and restored, putto's right fingers lacking and right foot probably with restoration)
