CIRCA 1800, STENCILLED IRON-RED DENIS No91. MARKS
Painted in red camaïeu with continuous wooded river and rocky landscapes with classical buildings and figures in the foreground above a band of gilt interlocking zig-zags, the gilt rims with a band of stiff leaves, the lower parts and spreading feet with gold grounds reserved with overlapping leaves, on square simulated stone bases in iron-red and gilding (one broken through part of rim with restoration to approximately two thirds of rim, other with minute rim chip, restoration to edge of stem and corner of one foot)
