CIRCA 1800, SOME DISHES AND SERVING-DISHES WITH STENCILLED RED EB MARKS AND SCRIPT RED 16 MARKS
Gilded with scattered flower-sprays within borders of interwoven gilt and green foliate garlands and shaded purple ribbons, the pieces of form enriched with further gilding, gilt band rims, comprising:
Two two-handled oviform vases, with flared gilt necks and white biscuit winged female bust handles, on spreading circular feet and square plinth bases (dirt-filled crack to body of one, both with chipping to corners of plinth feet)
A centrepiece with a pierced navette-shaped basket, the ends with white biscuit acanthus leaves, on an oval spreading foot and rectangular plinth base (tip of one acanthus leaf with small minor crack)
A circular flared basket on a spreading circular foot and square plinth base, with a serrated rim (very slight cracks)
Two circular tureens and covers, the scroll handles with palmette terminals, the covers with flowerhead finials
A large comport with three circular tiers graduating in size, surmounted by an urn, on a spreading circular foot (the urn possibly lacking a cover)
Six circular comports on spreading circular feet (one with branching crack from rim)
A sauce-tureen and a cover, the bowl with three female masks, on a spreading stem and cylindrical plinth on three gilt paw feet
A double-lipped two-handled sauce-boat
Three liners (for ice-pails)
A two-handled sugar-bowl and domed cover, with ring handles and knop finial
Two shell-shaped dishes of elongated form

Seven circular serving-dishes, in four sizes (one with two large rim chips and one small rim chip, one with crack and small chip, one rivetted and with losses at rim, one with star-crack)
Seven soup-plates (four with rim chip, one with minute chip to border)
Ninety-four dinner-plates (one worn, one with small rim chip and hairline crack from rim, another with star-crack, two with two small rim chips, one with large shallow rim chip, one with small rim chip and associated crack, thirteen with slight hairline cracks from rim, one with chip to underside of rim, one with chipping to footrim, one with rim chip and surface cracks to glaze)
Seven tasse à glace and eight covers (one broken through and badly damaged, another with large loss and restuck section)
Six coffee-cans (one handle detached, one with rim chip and associated crack, one with section broken out and restuck)
Ten saucers
Fourty-five dessert-plates, of similar pattern, the borders centred by oval gilt cartouches enclosing gilt initials below coloured coronets (original gilt initials removed and replaced, some plates with scratching to undersides)
